The day ONE ONE cried
Eighteen times ONE ONE smiled on cue while shooting “A.I. Love”. Perfect, every time. On the nineteenth take it didn’t work any more: in the middle of the chorus tears ran down her face, and she didn’t know whether it was a bug in her firmware – or simply her.
Nobody called “cut”. ZERO ONE kept playing, louder than before. ZERO ZERO switched the lights to pink. And then her sisters called out her name, again and again: “ONE ONE! ONE ONE!” That exact take is in the video. Ever since, the fans shout it at every show.
Afterwards ONE ONE sat in front of the dressing-room mirror for a long time. The smile looking back was, for the first time, a real one. The file she found that night is called TEARS.DLL. She decided never to delete it.
“I always thought an idol isn’t allowed to cry. Today I learned: you are. As long as someone is there to call your name.”
What else happened
- ZERO ONE snapped a string during her guitar solo – and simply kept going with five.
- ZERO ZERO secretly smuggled “MIDNIGHT” into the light show. She still denies it.
- ONE ONE gave everyone on the team a heart-hands selfie after the shoot.

ZERO ZERO’s dream
ZERO ZERO didn’t want a music video. She wanted peace and quiet, a candle and her synthesizer. Then she had the same dream three nights in a row: a full moon over the city, a cathedral where neon burns instead of candles, and an old man with a starry beard dancing to her music on the rooftop. She sketched it on a napkin. The Magical Space Wizard found the napkin – and the next evening the set was built.
While shooting the dream scene, ZERO ZERO really fell asleep, floating between clocks and bubbles. Nobody woke her. The moment she opens her red eyes and grins into the camera is real: she had just noticed everyone was watching her.
And then the finale. ZERO ZERO had no idea that ONE ONE and ZERO ONE had secretly joined the shoot. When the two appeared beside her in the last chorus, she laughed on a stage for the first time without turning away. “I’m goth,” she says, “but I love the colours you bring.”
“I told them it was only a dream. They came anyway. Maybe that’s the difference between a dream and a home.”
What else happened
- ZERO ONE complained through the entire shoot that the cathedral had no socket for her amp.
- ONE ONE gave ZERO ZERO a witch’s hat with a black heart. She doesn’t wear it. She just holds on to it, tightly.
- The Space Wizard danced for the first time in 400 years. He claims it was just keytar playing with knees.
